During the preloading inspection, MCL Surveys examines each coil individually. The inspection includes recording the coil's references, checking for telescoping, assessing the level of rust, verifying the presence of straps, and inspecting both internal and external damage. Additionally, MCL Surveys uses silver nitrate on the coil to determine if it has been in contact with seawater.
